It's a more practical, rather homey project. Painting my kitchen cabinets. I'd dare say downright crafty. Working on it whenever my 6 month old takes a nap, or when someone is watching him for me. I hope to post something of a progress picture soon. It's been so long since I've painted that my hand gets really tired, heh.
Later!

By Each vignette suggests its own story, and I especially like the lower left hand corner one.
By A cute domestic scene. It reminds me of my family, and it is so simple and joyful.

By Yes I'm repeating an artist, but I don't care!
By Lovely story, sweet scene, and pretty color pallet.

By it just makes me quiet and still. I wonder what it is she sees.
From my little family to yours~ <3 This was my husband's and my second Christmas as a married couple, and it was our son's first! Such a wonderful day. I hope you had a lovely Christmas too. Rejoice, rejoice! Emanuel has come to thee O Israel.
I haven't painted/drawn seriously or well since my little one was born. That's been hard, with having no time or energy to spare. But this time in my life will be fleeting, and it is so special, watching my little boy discovering the world around him, and I'll never get the time back. I am determined to enjoy being a new mommy without feeling guilty over neglecting my art. Only, my husband wanted me to paint him something, just a little tiny thing, for Christmas. He only wanted one dot of paint on a project I've been trying to do for almost a year but never got started on. Nothing else. Well, Christmas morning, while he and the baby slept, I did it. And for the pure joy it brought him, I'm so glad I finally was able to get started on artwork again, with that first dab of paint.
May you have a blessed Christmas Season.
